Our goal at Talkeetna Wilderness Lodge and Cabin Rentals is to provide our guests with an affordle, comfortable, and relaxing stay. The cabins are completely updated and newly furnished to provide you a clean and private retreat close to all the area attractions. After a full day of hiking, exploring, fishing, wildlife viewing or taking in the excitement and energy of town you will be able to recharge for the next day’s travels or adventure. The Lodge and property are designed to offer you a place to come together with your family, friends or fellow travelers and share stories or make new memories. Relax around the fire, prepare and enjoy a meal, and browse our many books about the people and places that make Alaska a truly unique experience. Free Wi Fi is available along with excellent cell reception so you can relax in your cabin and catch up on emails, check your social media connections or download and watch your favorite program.  Our motto is that we’re “A Breed Apart” because we recognize that everyone is special and different. The owner, Todd Smith, was born in Canada and has lived in the US since 1997. Todd’s travels have taken him through most of the US, Canada, Europe, India, Nepal, Australia, New Zealand, and parts of Africa, the Middle East, Asia, the Caribbean, Mexico and Costa Rica. Todd enjoys hunting, fishing, skiing, backpack camping and hiking, canoeing and kayaking, and everything the outdoors has to offer.
